How I Combat Allergy Face
“Allergy Face” - This is a term I made up after developing seasonal allergies only a couple years ago. It refers to the way my face feels and looks during the high allergy season. According to the interweb allergies reset every seven years or so, and I guess it was time for mine to go wild. Let me tell you and the puffiness, patchiness, and pollution not only affects my sinuses, it also severely affects the way I look, SO I decided to put together a list of products I’ve used to help combat my allergy face below!
This refreshing antioxidant toner helps to protect the skin’s barrier by creating an active antioxidant shield to help fight free radical damage, and help prevent the signs of aging. You can use this product throughout the day, especially if you’re heading out into a high allergy war zone.
A fast-absorbing gel-serum packed with the most stable form of vitamin C — collagen amino acids, and a proprietary energy complex to create a smooth complexion for dull uneven texture. This has helped tremendously with the uneven patchiness that allergies create on the skin. I lather this on at night before bed.
When my face feels puffy I look forward to getting home and putting on a sheet mask that I had in the fridge. This instantly cools down the swelling I develop from my itchy and watery face. I’ve been loving the skyn ICELAND’s Hydro Cool Brightening Face Mask. It helps to calm upset skin for a softer, more supple look and feel and strengths the skin’s natural barrier to repair itself.
To remove all the pollen, pollution, and makeup of course I’ve been using the Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water because it instantly soothes and hydrates the face, eye area, and lips, in 1 step without rinsing.
I’ve been loving using this PTR decongesting, and hydrating face mask. It instantly draws out dirt, oil, and grime while simultaneously providing nourishment to your deepest pores. I feel like a whole new allergy-less woman every time I use this.
