What motivated you to start your own blog?

I learned to sew at a very young age. I’d beg my mom for fabric and then make myself clothing, pillows, and teddy bears out of it.

Then later, when I was in college I decided to study costume design, which merged together my love for theater and style.

When I moved back to new York I found I needed a creative outlet for myself, and new blogging would be just that.

Favorite quotes to live by?

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take This is something I always try to live by. You're not going to get anywhere if you don’t ask for it. What’s the worst that’s going to happen. Someone will say no?

Take the risk or lose the chance

Falling is okay, as long as you’re falling in the right direction

How do you balance blogging with your social life?

I’m not going to lie - sometimes I feel completely overwhelmed, but I try to stay extremely organized. I'm still learning how to keep myself on track, but I absolutely love content calendars.

A lot of people don’t know this, but I’m also in a full time acting conservatory called William Esper which takes up the majority of my week. Staying positive and making to-do lists always help keep me going!

Favorite hobbies?

I LOVE to eat. I’m always on the hunt for new off the grid restaurants in NYC. My boyfriend and I are currently on the search for the best pasta in New York! Suggestions are very welcomed!

I also love to dance & sing – I try to go to at least three off Broadway shows each month.

I love to collect street art! I try to get to the Sunday flee market on the UWS as often as I can to check out the goods!

Favorite designer or fashion-inspiration?

Patricia Fields is my ultimate fashion icon hands down. She revolutionized costume design with Sex and the City, and has done it again with the TV show Younger. She is so baddass!!
