Martha's Vineyard with Orchard Mile

I recently went on a 48 hour trip to Martha’s Vineyard with Orchard Mile. This was my first time to the special island, and I knew immediately it wouldn’t be my last. Between the charming towns, endless amount of lobster rolls, and beaches I was in heaven. I put together a guide of all my favorite below. I’ll be going back on Labor Day, so let me know any must see’s that I missed :)

Martha’s Vineyard with Orchard Mile:

Where to Eat:

Brunch

Behind the Bookstore - While I went there for brunch, this is a staple in Martha’s Vineyard because it is open from 7 in the morning to 11 at night. Not only do they serve food all day, but there is also a bookstore you can go into while carrying your iced coffee or matcha green tea’s.

7a - Best Iced Coffee on the island, and their breakfast sandwiches have been rated number 1 on the island for years.

State Road - I don’t know about you, but I am ADDICTED to pancakes. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were one of a kind and insanely delicious. The brunch menu has a nice mix of breakfast and lunch food and I highly recommend it.

Lunch

Larsen’s Fish Market - great for a lobster lunch in Menemsha Fishing Village. This is the only place I went to lunch because it was so freakin good, and I had to keep going back.

Dinner

The Boat House - Aside from the amazing decor and view overlooking the water the food is amazing. The Margarita Flatbread is a must to start with and if you are a fish lover this is the place for you, all fresh fish and it is incredible.

Chilmark Tavern - If you're looking for a good burger and beer to have a chill nice dinner this is your place.

Where to Stay:

Beach Plum Inn- Adorable Inn- perfect for family vacations. You have the option to stay in the inn, adorable cottages or rent out a private home.

Summercamp- Hotel with a waterfront view of the arena. Gorgeous view and amazing food, what more could you ask for?

What to Do:

Edgartown Lighthouse - if you love looking at houses on islands like I do, walking to the lighthouse will be one of the highlights of your trip. Not only will you get to see the beautiful homes that you one day dream of owning, but you also get panoramic views of Edgartown Harbor and Chappaquiddick Island.
Menemsha Fishing Village -  a great place to eat, walk around, and watch the gorgeous sunset

Mad Max - A really fun boat you can take out for the day with friends, and some rose.

Where to Shop:

Orchard Mile Pop Up - The two shops are located in Edgartown. They sell many different popular brands and have any clothing item you could want. It is a great store if you need any last minute clothing items you did not bring on your vacation.
Alley’s General Store-  The best little  best little knick knacks to bring home as gifts

**** Fun Fact: A smaller island to the south was named "Martha's Vineyard" by the English explorer Bartholomew Gosnold, who sailed to the island in 1602. ... The island's namesake is not definitively known, but it is thought that the island was named after Gosnold's mother-in-law or his daughter, both named Martha.
