I was so excited to shoot this look in Washington Square Park because it is one of my favorite spots in NYC. A little history of the park: Washington Square in Greenwich Village is one of New York’s most densely-used green spaces. Anchored by Stanford White’s iconic Washington Arch, it is a small park–barely 10 acres–with a long and colorful history. For nearly two centuries the Square has been a place to linger, to play, to celebrate or demonstrate. It functions not only as a public park beloved by locals, but also as a campus green, a crossroads, a performance space and a magnet attracting visitors from around the world.

I love learning the history of different places in New York. There is so much history, even in the smallest alcoves. I recently heard of an amazing personal tour you can take of downtown New York, and I’ve been dying to do it with my friends! If I do it, I will definitely post about it on the blog!

I almost always wear some sort of denim look when I’m in the village. I eternally feel that downtown breeds chic denim vibes, and I am always into rocking and new pair of denim skinnys! The pair I am wearing above are new Rag & Bone’s from Bloomingdales, and I think I have worn them for a week straight now! I LOVE this new high waist fit! I paired the jeans with this private label Intermix shearling number! It’s on MAJOR sale right now so go grab it before it sells out! And I promise it extremely warm and cozy! To finalize the look I added an Equipment stripped sweater to add to my love of stripped cropped sweaters this season. I can really say I am totally "seeing stripes" all winter long!

What’s everyone favorite NYFW street look so far? I’ll be posting my looks from the presentations/shows next week!!!
