Six Spring Trends With Shopbop

Photography by Meg Niemann | @MSNPhotography

Spring is a little late this year, but there are already a few trends that the fashion forecast has predicted for this season! I know it’s not always easy to incorporate trends into our everyday wardrobe without feeling a little hesitant, especially when the weather is still freezing in NYC, but I strongly believe the more color you add the more your attitude will change . Below, I listed my six hottest spring trends and how I would style them to hopefully inspire you guys to play around with this seasons trends!

1. All Things Green

Green was big this year in fashion week! But models are not the only ones that can pull it off! A military green jacket with a pair of skinny jeans for a day in the city! Even a green, flowy skirt with a floral top is the perfect outfit for a Sunday brunch.

2. Fresh Florals

You guys probably already know that I live for florals! What better time to play with florals then spring!? This is one of my favorite trends because it’s an excuse to wear colors and it always adds a cute, feminine touch to any outfit. I love pairing a floral top with a skirt of a similar tone to one of the colors incorporated in the floral pattern. An essential tip to help make your outfit come together!!!

3. Woven Accessories

A woven accessory is one that hasn’t been around in a while! These hats or small bags work great as statement pieces to an outfit. The subtle brownish tones of these woven accessories are lovely and make it easy to match with almost every outfit! I am all about accessories, and woven ones are my go to’s this spring.

4. Pretty Pastels

Pastels are back, and I’m so excited about it! These romantic tones work great for a cute daytime look. I also love turning to pastel shades when it’s sunny and warm out! Pastels can be worn in any way, but there’s nothing like incorporating a pastel accessory or pair of pants in a monochrome outfit!

5. Clean Denim

Denim is back, and I love it!! Whether it is throwing on a pair of high waisted Levi’s with a white tee or a denim dress, I love this trend! It is also great to play with because you can either dress it up or down and who doesn’t look gorgeous in denim?

6. Matching Sets

My favorite thing about matching sets is that they automatically make your outfit look put together! You can find these in all price ranges, which is excellent! The best part about them is that they exist for every occasion. Whether you’re having a stay at home day and want to be comfy or go out with you’re friends! Not to mention, matching sets are always a lifesaver when we are having those “I don’t know what to where” type of days!
