This has to be my most exciting shoot so far because I recruited some of my best babes to be in it! Nothing screams the holidays like some good quality time with your girls! With all the hustle and bustle of wrapping up the year, work, and holiday parties I find there is really something special about finding a time to throw a little secret Santa party with your favorite ladies! It was only fitting to theme our party “Chrismukkah” because both Hanukkah and Christmas fall on the same day this year. Yes, I did steal this idea from The O.C’s Seth Cohen “Best Chrismukkah Ever.” But, originality is overrated!!!! Am I right!?

I couldn’t be more thrilled to have Amanda Uprichard dress us all in our party frocks for the shoot! I love working with the the Amanda Uprichard team. They are always so creative and supportive of all of my ideas! Their new line of dresses is beyond perfect for any holiday party, and can also be worn for New Years Eve! I chose this gold shimmery number because it fit perfectly with the spirit of Chrismukahh, and I let my girls pick out their outfits so they felt comfortable and confident. We are all wearing a pair of Jennifer Miller Jewelry 's faux sparkly earrings to complete our festive look. Nothing screams holiday cheer like a giant pair of sparkly baubles from the famous Jenny Miller from the block!

Ever since I can remember my mom has been throwing holidays and parties at our home. My mom always makes her family and friends feel warm and welcomed the second they arrive. This is something I have always admired! I definitely got the holiday and party hosting bug from her. I have truly learned from the best. To decorate for this girls day, I went to Pier 1 and found myself in absolute heaven! The decorative objects at Pier 1 are endless, especially during the holiday season! I picked up these two mini Christmas trees and adorned them with little Hanukkah menorahs and snow animals to fit the theme! It was so fun to take the lead and decorate for my own holiday party this year! If you couldn’t already tell from my friendsgiving shoot I can never have a party without an endless amount of desserts to pass around. I picked up the yummy and delicious holiday cookies from the traditional William J Greenberg on Madison Avenue, and of course had to add in some of my favorite Baked by Melissa cupcakes… those things might be tiny, but they are dangerous for sure!

Hope all of your holidays are filled with family, friends, and fun! Can’t wait to share more of my favorite holiday looks!

XOXOX, kt
